Public Health Research

Due to the multi-disciplinary nature and public health background of IHI's company founders, we have developed a particular expertise in the area of public health research.  Our public health projects have ranged from supporting community and company epidemiological studies to exploring the relationship between management practices and safety culture at an U.S. Army chemical incinerator.  These high-profile projects have demanded expertise in the following areas:

With this expertise, IHI has conducted public health research projects throughout the United States in an assortment of settings, for a variety of clients.  In addition, our designated Project Manager for Public Health Research projects, Dr. Donna Olsen, worked over eight years at Hill Air Force Base in Utah, conducting exposure studies on various base populations.

IHI has teamed with other national companies such as Westat and International Epidemiology Institute (IEI) to provide additional expertise in epidemiology, questionnaire design, surveys, and management culture analysis.
