Required for all facilities, which do not qualify for a small source exemption, that emit contaminants into the air. This includes modifications to existing facilities.

w

Operating Permits

Required for all major sources that have the potential of emitting between 10 and 100 tons per year of any hazardous air pollutant or combination of pollutants. This includes smaller sources that are regulated by standards or other Clean Air Act requirements.
