The IHI Story

Our company was founded in 1980 by four friends and co-workers of the United States Public Health Service.  Jeff Lee, Bobby Craft, Don Marano, and Bill Wagner all shared a spirit of independence and entrepreneurial endeavor.  Together they pooled their talents and resources, forming Industrial Health Incorporated (IHI), an occupational safety and health consulting firm.

IHI grew and expanded over the next two decades.   Asbestos, lead-based paint, and other hazardous materials management services were added to the company, as well as a full-service environmental consulting component. To meet the changing needs of clientele throughout the western United States, satellite offices were opened in California, Colorado, and Arizona.   In 1995, with the addition of a Natural Resources Division, Industrial Health Incorporated officially changed its name to IHI Environmental.

Over the years, our "extended family" has grown to over 50 qualified individuals who share common personal and professional visions.  Together, we have created a successful employee-owned company dedicated to the ideals of integrity, professionalism, and friendship that mirror the talents and resources used to form this company 20 years ago.
